BANANA SPLITS....1969

SUPER DROOPER....S. D. #2

(THE TRASH TIPPER)

1. (M. S.) The splits are seated around the radio in the club house.

RADIO ANNCR. (V. O. Filter)

".....and so for the fourth straight day in a row, Banana Splitsville has been terrorized by the Terrible Trash Tipper."

DROOPER

"The Terrible Trash Tipper?"

RADIO ANNCR.

"Yes, the Terrible Trash Tipper. The Terrible Trash Tipper trepidaciously tip-toes through town tipping over tins of trash, terrorizing tots and toddlers and terrified townfolk."

DROOPER

"Would you repeat that please?"

RADIO ANNCR.

"Not a chance...Until this troublemaker is apprehended, keep the women and children off the streets."

2. (C. U.) Drooper turns off radio and jumps up.

DROOPER

"This looks like a job for Super Drooper."

3. (M. S.) of group.

FLEEGLE

"Did Drooper say Super Drooper ? ? ? ?"

BINGO

"I'm glad I'm not in the Terrible Trash Tipper's shoes."

4. Camera follows Drooper. Drooper runs to closet...he pulls on the door knob and it comes off in his hand. Drooper falls backwards to floor. He gets up and charges door. Door opens by itself and Drooper dives inside.

CRASH

SOUND OF GENERAL CLATTER

Closet items fly out open door. Drooper emerges, dressed in cape and mask. He wears a wash bucket on one foot. He flexes muscles.

FANFARE

5. (L. S.) of gang.

SUPER DROOPER

"Stand back gang...Super Drooper flies again."

FLEEGLE

"Super Drooper....are you sure you can fly?"

SUPER DROOPER

"Of course I can fly....it's the only way to fly. Open the door, Snorky.....it's Up...Up...and away."

6. (M. S.) Door area. Snorky opens the door...Super Drooper charges the door still wearing his bucket on his foot. He jumps out the doorway and off scene.

CRASH SOUND

CONTINUOUS SOUND OF STRUGGLE...CLATTER OF TRASH CANS...(For ten seconds)...THEN SILENCE

KNOCK AT DOOR SOUND

Snorky opens door...a large trash can falls inside door. The lid falls off as the can tips on its side and a very disheveled Super Drooper peers out.

FLEEGLE

"Thanks, Super Drooper, for striking another blow for justice."

SUPER DROOPER

"Don't mention it."

He faints dead away...while still in the trash can.
