MAILBOX.....M.B. #5 (BIRTHDAY)

PROPS

1. Small gift wrapped box (empty)

2. Pater (sic) serpentine

3. Party horn

4. Confetti

5. Blower for confetti

6. serpent rigged on fishline & pole (wearing party hat)

1. M.S. of Mailbox     SOUND OF WHISTLE

OFF CAM VOICE

"Mailman...."

Fleegle rushes into scene.

FLEEGLE

"Boy oh boy...it's my birthday...I wonder of (sic) any of my presents arrived... (PAUSE) I got one! I got a present!"

Fleegle opens the lid and withdraws a gift wrapped package. An arm comes out of the mailbox and grabs it back

FLEEGLE (Looks closely in mail box)

"Just one minute...you can't get away with that. Give it to me."

A paper serpentine ejects out of the mail box and hits Fleegle on the nose.

SIREN HORN AND BOING SOUND

Fleegle closes lid...thinks for a moment and opens again to look in. Party horn extends out in his face.

PARTY HORN SOUND

Fleegle closes lid...thinks..and again opens the box.

FLEEGLE

"Thats my birthday present you got....so...this is the last time I'm going to ask...Let me have it."

Fleegle looks in and gets hit in the face with a continuous barrage of confetti.

SOUNDS OF HORNS BLOWING, RACHETS, LAUGHTER, ETC

MUSIC..."HAPPY BIRTHDAY"

Finally out pops the serpent wearing a party hat.

BOING SOUND

Fleegle does a pratt fall backwards
